Precautions for lithium battery charging
Lithium-ion batteries are strictly prohibited from being charged from the discharge terminals, and must be charged from the charging socket using a dedicated charger. When the charging indicator on the charger stops flashing, please remove the charging plug in time to avoid overcharging the battery.
Discharge precautions
The lithium battery pack has overcurrent protection function. When the current used by the device exceeds the maximum output current of this product, the overcurrent protection circuit will shut down the power output, making the device appear to be unable to work normally.
Daily use precautions
The output of the discharge terminal is not controlled by the switch on the panel. The discharge terminal will only turn off the output when the battery voltage is lower than the over-discharge protection voltage (such as 9V protection). The switch on the panel controls the screen and socket output. When the switch is turned on and the battery voltage is higher than 9V, the screen will flash at a frequency of one second on and one second off to remind you to charge in time. When the battery voltage is 9V, the screen goes out and the socket turns off the output, in order to protect the lithium-ion battery from over-discharge. Although it has output short circuit protection function, the power output should not be short-circuited frequently in daily use.
Recycling precautions
The normal cycle of charging and discharging of lithium-ion batteries is about 500 to 800 times. When the lithium-ion battery reaches the end of its life, it should be recycled and processed in accordance with local laws.
Use environment and maintenance methods of lithium battery pack
The temperature should be suitable. The charging temperature of the lithium battery pack is 0℃~45℃, and the discharge temperature of the lithium-ion battery is -20℃~60℃;
It should be in a clean, dry and ventilated environment, and should avoid contact with corrosive substances, and keep away from fire and heat sources;
The lithium-ion battery pack does not have memory effect and can be charged as needed, but it should be noted that over-discharge of the lithium-ion battery will cause a significant loss of capacity;
Do not mix the battery with metal objects to avoid metal objects touching the positive and negative poles of the battery, causing a short circuit, damaging the battery or even causing danger.
Avoid frequent overcharging. Overcharging will cause the internal temperature of the battery to rise very high, which is harmful to the lithium-ion battery and the charger. Therefore, continuous charging is enough to make your lithium-ion battery pack become a small bomb!
The battery is a consumable item, and its service life is certain (usually 300-500 charge and discharge cycles), so mastering the correct use method is the key to prolonging the life of the battery. The lithium-ion battery pack needs to be charged and discharged every three months to restore its original performance. Before using the lithium battery pack, check whether it meets the requirements of the load. Using it when it cannot meet the load requirements or when the current is large (exceeding 1C) will damage the battery or shorten its life.
